My conversation with Shawn Cuthand and Daniel Knight of the biting satirical news project “The Feather,” part of an installation entitled “Treaty Six: The Smooth and the Striated.” We focused our conversation on many of the still commonly held misconceptions that Canadians harbour with regards to treaties, colonial histories, and the possibility for humour to effectively disarm, challenge and critique.
